Spring Gathering Newsflash!

Graham Cave State Park is wet. After a full day of trompsing about, I feel qualified to assure everyone that every inch of the park is indeed wet.

In the event everyone hasn't caught on, inside me is a ten year old who loves sploshing his way thorugh creeks. Everyone should come prepared to do more than a bit of their own sploshing given the current conditions. Besides, a good bit of sploshing is good for the soul.

Thanks for the warning. My ten year old will be happy to go sloshing around the park.

I forgot to mention two other items. The park is full of birds. I'm no expert, but it seems as if birding is exceptional right now. Also, mushrooms are thick. Found oodles that look like the top of a hamburger bun on a thick white stem with 'fins' under the top. Looks as if turkeys or deer love 'em.
